I’m so sick of these maga “leaders” displaying their absolute disregard for integrity. I called one of his MN offices today to tell a staffer that he is unproductive, divisive and likely to get people hurt and possibly killed. Did they learn nothing from McCarthyism? Fools.

He's a real charmer. What I can't figure out is why he is concerned when *young* men are in dressing/changing rooms but doesn't give a flying monkey when *old* men are (yes, I mean Donald Trump). I'm referring of course to the pageants Trump owned and him going through the dressing rooms of those girls in those pageants and "inspecting" them. Emmer is a creep and an idiot. And that's being generous.

I know this is simplehearted to point out, but you don't get to talk about Dems talking about Trump & Co. being fascists as bringing on the next Charlie Kirk murder, while you've got this garbage-fire of hatred and bigotry right there. You just... don't. (If only; but I'm still willing that last part into existence with all I've got.)

In lighter spirits, I'm reminded of that old XKCD comic. "But he's a US Senator!" "... Ah, yes, then we do have a bit of a situation."

Considering we had democrats in leadership shot and killed in June here in Minnesota that he might tone down his lies. But alas no he’s garbage.

Profiles in courage is not something that anyone will accuse Rep. Emmer of demonstrating any time soon.

If he wants to change the Senate rules, he should run for the Senate and take it from there.

If he expects any Democrat to work with him or take him as member who will negotiate in “good faith”, then he will retract his comments. But like the Comb-over-in-Chief, he is not interested in that. He knows he cannot “unring” the bell, nor does he want to do so.

Rep. Emmer is the most recent example of the inability of MAGA/AF to actually debate the ramifications of their policies and resorts to insults…. Junior high school kids would be so proud (with all apologies to Jr. High kids everywhere).

What a nasty human being and a political nut. Thanks Will for gathering his nasty and nutty comments and actions for us to see. I had no idea.

It is a shame that Minnesota voters have very little exposure to the nature of this man, who basks in the reasonable, civil identity he invented a few years back.

Emmer is an embarrassment to all Minnesotans of good will. I can't write what I think of him without a lot of profanity. Let's just say, I wouldn't share my water with him if he was on fire.

Tom Emmer isn’t a legislator; he’s a smear factory with a tie. The man wakes up every morning, drinks his coffee black with bile, and decides which demographic to slander before lunch. He’s what happens when Trump’s Id gets a LinkedIn account.

Emmer’s entire political method is noise: louder, meaner, dumber noise. When you’ve got no policies, you invent enemies. “Marxists! Terrorists! Buffets!” he shrieks, hoping no one notices that he and his caucus are starving the country to death. He’s not fighting Democrats; he’s performing cruelty as brand management.

This is what the GOP has become: a hate-syndication network where bigotry is outreach and insults are governance. The real scandal isn’t that Emmer exists. It’s that his colleagues keep pretending he’s normal.

Proof that for some people, being garbage is better to them than being nothing at all. If I knew where he lived, I’d send him a box of “Get Well “ cards!

Republicans (MAGAs) seem to be born with the nasty gene. They wield it with relish. Trump's rise has unleashed the cruelty that was kept quiet previously among Republicans. Only people who truly believe in what they're saying can deliver their lines so convincingly. They've always been this way. They just hid it well.

Didn’t Mona say that she saw lots of Hamas flags?

At one point in time I voted for Emmer. It is embarrassing.

Being a Minnesota resident, I am appalled that Tom Emmer, representing a red area in Minnesota, is so vile, childish and full of hate. It's not who Minnesotans are.

The guy is a horse's arse. Wow. And some of the reps wanted him as speaker. Wow, again. Does he have a Democratic challenger yet? Maybe Tim needs to do a little redrawing of the lines in his state for the midterms?

To my great embarrassment, 'Screaming" Tom Emmer is my congressman. He has been elected in a district that was represented by Michele Bachman. So that will tell right there it will be his job for life if he wants it. (And most of them will hang on) So whenever I receive an e mail from him, I hit the delete button fast.
