Taking my son on an camping trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (go National Park Service!) and watching out minor league baseball team go from the bottom of to the top this year between Memorial Day and now. They lost the first four games we went to, and killed it at the last three we went two. There's two weeks of home games left :)
Best memory? Getting up at 0330 so I could beat the heat on my bike ride and seeing all the fireflies. Looking forward to? Not having to get up early to beat the heat.

Amazing ceremony presided over by the Lord Mayor of Melbourne (himself an immigrant), where 200 new citizens from 63 different countries were welcomed to Australia. It's a wonderful country where opportunity abounds. I may have to join her there soon. . .
Best memory? 2025 is a clusterfuck dump fire. I guess that at least between dealing with a relative going to assisted living and giving me financial POA and a hellacious respiratory infection I got on an overnight trip to Alaska I haven't had time to read as much news. That's my best memory so far.

Bill Gates should take $5 billion of his wealth now to help Harvard defeat Trump in the Courts! Mr. Gates is planning to disperse most of his money in his next years so why not spend a big chunk now and commence saving our democracy before it’s too late!

My guess is that Donald prevailed upon Vlad to provide some prime land in the center of Moscow for Trump Tower Mockba. That is why it took so much time. They were haggling over the price. Donald wanted the land for free. They involved the Gulf States in the negotiations and the Saudi sovereign wealth fund eventually agreed to foot the bill.
