I'm a lifelong Democrat and I think my party made a mistake in not holding a primary and Biden made a mistake in deciding to run. The vast majority of Dems did not want Biden to run. I supported that decision because I didn't think there was an alternative who could beat Trump. But now, seeing Biden's dismal standing in the polls, for over a year, I'm not sure he can.
I don't consider the Bulwark writers as Republicans. Conservatives, maybe, but they've clearly left the R party.

The debate was especially devastating because it did not feel like a one-off; it seemed to confirm all of the fears about Biden’s fitness not just for the presidential campaign, but about his ability to serve another four years; and none of those concerns are going away.
