Trump’s White House tried to spin the Epstein scandal by pushing for grand jury files they knew were safe, then blaming the judge when nothing came out.
No one should be fooled by Criminal Trump demanding grand jury transcripts. By any logic at all, what's in them was disclosed at the criminal trial. So, what did anyone think this would tell us?

Unfortunately, for them, the maga bro sphere will consider it an insult to their intelligence and clamor even louder for the files release. Now the Maxwell move to the Texas spa presents an interesting possibility. What if she is smarter and more devious than even Trump? She could say Clinton was involved but what if it is a lie and can't be proven? Or, she could lie about Trump, who already looks panicked. Clinton can't give her a pardon but now Trump can. She has more aces up her sleeve than Amarillo Slim. And Todd Blanche is the perfect foil, the incompetent sleaze bag that he is.

It's much easier to escape from a minimum security prison—that's one reason why only people with short sentences are placed there. That's my bet: Maxwell will be allowed to "escape" so Trump will not pay the political price of a pardon.
