I agree, though she does have a point. The Republican Party is the party of dirty tricks, lack of civility and outright indecency. And, since Trump emerged as it's leader, moral depravity.

My point was that 30 years of inauthentic screeching about Hillary eventually paid off for the GOP. I can't think of an equivalent situation with the parties reversed.

Clearly. The Republicans have told a narrative and people are following it. The relative diversity of Democrats means they do not speak with a unified voice, and they can't lead voters in a single direction.

The big story of the last 20 years is the Republicans have taught a large chunk of Americans to be ideological.
