Sykes: "Rodgers also shared his deep thoughts about a horse-worming medicine popular amongst the idiocracy."

Horse-worming or horse-deworming?

I'd think the distinction would matter to the horse (though likely not to Rodgers)

Is this another peel/unpeel, loose/unloose, dust, fast, sanction, garnish, seed, etc situation?

Or is it . . . shudder . . . Orwellian?

Worming...deworming...let's just split the difference and call it equine anthelmintic.

( Although "deworming " is the appropriate lay term. )

Seriously, my horses don't care about the distinction. At least I assume this to be the case. I've never actually asked them.

They just don't like the taste when I stuff an applicator into the corner of their jaws and give them a dose of what's good for 'em. But they don't put up nearly as much fuss as those like the fellow here - obviously of keen intellect and averse to untruthfulness - do when the flavor of someone calling BS on them offends their own taste buds.

Perhaps because they are in possession of something that Mr. Rodgers apparently is not...

Horse sense.

Btw...I've never known one of my horses to lie, obfuscate, or otherwise practice to deceive. Probably why I like them more than a lot of people I know.
