Did you see N. Pelosi at work while they were storming the capitol? I've always noticed that walk she has - small, quick steps, very forward moving - in high heels. From the newly-released video she looks to work in the same way. No ball-busting, even her "gonna punch him in the face" was mild. Not cursing, not threatening (like I woulda been), just all nose down, doing what needs doing. Doing it in quiet, respectful tones. Conferring, including, reaching out. Now I understand better how she rose to be the most powerful female politician in the country. Great respect.
I loved her reaction when she found out that the rioters were using the floor of the House Chamber as a toilet. Only a mother and a grandmother who'd been there about a thousand times before could have said so calmly, "That's ok, we can clean that up. Now let's get back to work." and meant it. Just another bump in the road for a woman focused on saving the Republic.

I have a lot of respect for her. I hope I am as sharp and energetic at 80. I also hope she is mentoring some women to take her place as a leader.
And she's tough as nails.
