The best part of the Bulwark has been changing my mind on certain issues and in turn watching yall change your minds on certain issues. It teaches me that it’s entirely possible for us to learn from each other in this polarized political environment. Thank you for always attempting to put the truth first. While our opinions may differ, it means a lot to me and I am sure a lot of the other subscribers, that we still operate from the same set of basic facts!

Thank you friend.

With gratitude and affection from MN to the communities that give so much to support me including my jazz radio station, my church and of course everyone at the Bulwark. Thanks, JVL. Happy long weekend (and SS get off your monitor and have some well deserved “you”time😉!)

I think you put your finger on just what I find so gratifying about the Bulwark: I feel quite confident that everybody in this community is operating from the same set of facts. I no longer have that confidence in MSM like WaPo, NYT, etc. Thank you indeed!

And changing course on issues when circumstances and new facts come to light, or important facts were missed.

I was of the thought Elon really wanted to gut the EV tax credits to stick it to the traditional auto companies as his cost structure was below that of Ford, GM and this motivated his joining DOGE. But never did I think he could trash his own brand so badly, that he blew up his cost advantage with dropping sales volumes and now needs those EV credits. This is the crazy world The Bulwark is trying to understand with us and is not afraid of backtracking when reality changes.

I completely agree. And I want to add that I believe it is important to the mission of the group that we show up with different opinions in the first place. I am routinely surprised by (impressed by? thankful for?) the breadth of opinions people bring to the table. It starts with the writers and their diversity of thought, but it carries over to the comments and community.

We show up with our views, disagree respectfully, open our minds, and ultimately learn from one another.

I came here to say something similar, but your response is perfect. 10/10 no notes needed.

I wanted to say something similar but you encapsulated my feelings and I have nothing more to add. Thank you to the Bulwark and this response.
