Right on, Mona. I am still incredulous at what Donald Trump has done to the Republican Party, feel relief that he chose to become a Republican to seek the Presidency, and a sense of guilt at that relief. Today the guy who said “So there are five people taking the Fifth Amendment. Like you see on the mob, right? You see the mob takes the Fifth. If you’re innocent why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?” is taking the Fifth at a civil deposition. He says he now understands why. Because he is at heart a criminal, and has infected the GOP with his lawless mindset. I sincerely hope it won’t take until his death for the spell to break. I don’t know how much further the rubber band can stretch.
