And boring? How does the ‘next generation of national leaders’ become known if not at national conventions!
Lots of speeches? Yes, but almost all had some ‘Nugget’ to remember.

- union leaders saying Kamala not embarrassed to use the word ‘union’
-Hillary has given years to the community and she was recognized by the crowd for that.
- CaliforniaMr’s Biden speaking and the applause for Biden
- Ive worked enough locally to realize how much work all those delegates put in to get to that convention, a celebration of citizens from all over our country!
How can you not be inspired? I don’t get it at all, I’ve watched both conventions for over 60 years and still find them inspiring
Hey Tim, where do you think Liz Cheney is? She was all in for so long and now nothing that I have heard of. She said she would do "whatever it takes" to keep Trump out of the WH and then I see her tweeting from Taylor Swift. I am not judging her. Just curious and a little worried about her. Hoping the MAGA threats did not drive her away. Any insight? Thanks

What can voters do if/when they believe that both major party candidates, and both major parties, represent existential threats to our country and society? My state does not allow write-in votes, so that's not an option.

Channeling JVL here as a life long pragmatist (okay, pessimist) I listened to Stephanie Grisham talk about how Republican women can vote their consciences for Harris in the privacy of the voting booth. However in a mail-in ballot state like mine (Colorado) I foresee scenarios in which MAGA husbands will review their wives’ ballots and prevent them from voting they way they want. Sorry, but I know my MAGA neighbors too well. Perhaps a downside of mail-in voting, which I otherwise fervently support. Any thoughts?

Just watched Nicolle Wallace say Rs for Harris is the fastest growing element of the Harris Walz coalition.
