I appreciate the information, Charlie, and we would be fools to ignore yet another warning signal about Biden's chances of reelection.

BUT the cynic in me questions the notion that concern about immigration dropping under Trump and rising under Biden is anything but political.

How is this different than the GOP's historical 'alarm' about the deficit BUT ONLY WHEN A DEMOCRAT IS IN THE WHITE HOUSE?

Here in Florida, immigrants started to leave in droves earlier this year because of DeSantis’s policies against them. Now we are finding it hard to get workers for things like agriculture and construction. There was even a pushback from businesses asking for a more lenient policy letting immigrants come here for necessary type of work. Something similar happened in Georgia several years ago.

Seems like the idea of immigrants being here is the worst thing ever until people have to wait longer and pay more for home repairs or letting food rot in the fields, then that becomes the worst thing ever.
