If you are donating to, as you say, righteous media companies, perhaps you can switch that donation to one of the attorney groups. I donate to Democracy Forward (https://democracyforward.org/). Their donation page starts with as low as a one time donation of $10 and you can fill in an even lower amount ($5 ?). At this point, the only way we’re going to forcefully stop Trump is in the courts, and even the smallest sum adds up if enough people do it.
Today, the Trump lawyers are appealing to the USSC to overturn the lower court ruling that they have to get the guy wrongfully sent to the El Salvador prison back to the US. We need smart, capable lawyers arguing in favor of the Constitution and the rule of law. Give what you can, no matter how small. Every little bit helps.
