My personal favorite terrible Uwe Boll film is "Dungeon Siege", a star-studded extravaganza (seriously, look up the cast list) of film-making incompetence. Glad to know he hasn't gotten better with experience.
The guy used to live in my neighborhood in Vancouver. Still might, actually.
I actually have an Uwe Boll story: many MANY years ago, I was working at Blockbuster when he popped in for some rentals. He ended up at my co-worker's terminal for check-out. My colleague stared at the name on the terminal for a looong moment, then said, "Dude... you make REALLY BAD movies."
To his credit, Boll just shrugged and smiled, and replied, "Yeah, I know."
For a minute, I thought Judge Reinhold HIMSELF was in this movie, and I was about to let out a scream of dismay … especially since he already played “Judge Reinhold” in “Arrested Development.”
Okay, I'm just gonna lock the front door, put out the lights, and play Brian Wilson's 'I Just Wasn't Made for These Times' on repeat for the rest of this evening.
Sloop John B has always been my unable-to-handle-reality-right-now song. Maybe you should listen to the whole album so you don't lose your mind in a depressive funk?
I dislike vigilante movies, unless we admit "Falling Down" to the genre. That movie is thrilling, challenging, and... ultimately sad. Robert Duvall's final line adds a note of grace.
“Sanders has suffered no trauma; he’s mostly just annoyed by what he sees. His distaste for disorder is almost aesthetic.“
I imagine the millions glued to X or FOX who have never met an immigrant (much less been the victim of an immigrant criminal), but are bombarded 24/7 with horror stories about “illegals” & rape & mayhem. They too have suffered no trauma, but I’m sure they are annoyed, & filled with distaste, and some of them would love to take matters into their own hands….
Honestly debated adding a footnote with that single exception and decided to just instead insist that UNDER SIEGE is bad, actually, for the sake of the joke.

Whew.

Thank you for your service.

Hoist up the John B's sails!

Hey Under Siege is a good Seagal movie too!

Oh wow. Torn between pity for you sitting through it and alarm that others actually want to. Help... and thanks for the heads up, however depressing.
