I'm so sorry. We had to say goodbye to our Newfie last month. He was part of the family for 13 years and I feel the loss every day. But I was so glad that he was no longer in pain and was allowed to have some rest and dignity at the end. You have my sincere sympathies.

Thank you. I realized what was happening yesterday when I remembered what hospice had said about dying and how Dad looked when he slipped away. When the sun hits the patio, I'll take him out and hold him - he likes the sun now that it isn't 100 any more.
