My goodness, that people would rather vote for an abuser and idiot like Walker over an educated, religious pastor like Senator Warnock- whose passionate defense of voting rights in his Senate speeches are spectacular and moving- makes me despair.

As Tom Nichols has said, we are a seriously unserious people. It seems as though at least one-half of the country would rather vote for someone who can entertain, as opposed to someone who is interested in governing.
People who answer the phone for pollsters don't necessarily represent actual people and should probably come with an appropriate disclaimer to that effect. Sen. Warnock's major advantage is having Stacey Abrams on the ballot, even if she doesn't manage to beat Kemp. Her organizing and vote generating energy put him over once and, even in football crazy GA, should do it again when push comes to shove.

Yes, and who hates the Libs. That is highly motivating.

True enough, polls have burned us enough by now. Fingers crossed
I sure hope so. I live in Ga and it's been so nice to have Rev. Warnock as my senator. The thought of Walker taking his place makes me ill.
