He's become a joke when he talks about Harris. He"s a self proclaimed "Never-Trumper" and I take him at his word. He's claims that he is firmly behind US support of Ukraine. Yet he somehow vacillates about publicly stating he will vote for Harris because of some weird "is she tough enough, is she supportive enough of Israel, is she too progressive?" loop that is largely irrelevant if you agree that the primary goal is denying Trump the presidency. He acts as if the mere fact that he lives in NY is enough reason to say his vote doesn't matter, as if he's not a prominent NY Times columnist with nationwide reach who provides a permission structure for other old school Republican neocons in swing states who don't like Trump to not vote for Harris. He's more and more absurd each week.
Now, about Bret Stephens....
Don't get me started on Stephens. I've been pounding on that for a while.
I used to have some respect for Bret Stephens. He has embarrassed himself.....yuk.
