Clarke is just one of those sad hanger-ons that even Republicans don't like. He's desperate for attention from Trump, but any MAGA will do at this point.
Fortunately, Wisconsin is well aware of his abuse of power like this:
From Wikipedia:
In February 2017, a Detroit-area man, Dan Black, filed a harassment lawsuit against Clarke after Milwaukee deputies detained the man at the Milwaukee airport in January. The man had asked Clarke about his football team preference and shook his head at Clarke.[73]
On the tarmac, Clarke sent text messages to one of his captains, Mark Witek, directing sheriffs' deputies to detain Black. Clarke wrote: "Question for him is why he said anything to me. Why didn't he just keep his mouth shut? Follow him to baggage and out the door. You can escort me to carousel after I point him out."[74] After arriving at the airport, Black was "met by a group of six uniformed deputies and two dogs, all of whom were accompanied by the sheriff" who questioned him before releasing him.[73]
Airport surveillance video showed Black telling deputies: "He [Clarke] thinks because I asked who he is, he can exert that kind of power over me."[75] Local media reported that "at least one of the deputies who was ordered to confront Black didn't believe he had been disruptive."
Not enough fruit salad on his chest to be in a Junta.
It's kind of like looking at all those photos of Soviet (and later Russian) Generals and Marshals who have an entire side of their chest covered with stuff... that makes you wonder how easily they handed that stuff out, given that the USSR didn't have a war since WW2.
Come on, have you ever tried to take one of their sahes? They can put up one heck of a fight! I doubt these Russian generals could come close to a girl acout's badges. :)
Much of Clarke's appeal is based on him wearing a uniform, even if it is obsolete now, appealing to that segment of voters in the GOP who advocate for law and order ... as long as it is on their terms. And because he says out loud exactly what he thinks, which, as in the case of Trump, is seen as one of the highest virtues ... again, as long as it is telling them what they want to hear.
Yes, they do ... when it is their version of it. Not unlike how they've come to see other issues: as long as they get to decide which laws apply and when and how order is structured and by whom.
David Clarke looks like the leader of a Latin American junta in that photo.
In every photo

ItтАЩs an IтАЩll fitting costume paired with drugstore sunglasses.
When people show you who they are, believe them
He's missing a red sash which would complete the whole dictator ensemble.

It's the Soviet/Russian military equivalent of 37 pieces of flare. They're just trying to express themselves.
I just assumed at some point they started stealing merit badges from girl scouts.
Come on, have you ever tried to take one of their sahes? They can put up one heck of a fight! I doubt these Russian generals could come close to a girl acout's badges. :)
And unlike the Russian Army, the girl scouts can actually do logistics.
An army marches on it's stomach, and I'll take Thin Mints over expired MRE's any day.
I think we can all feel better knowing the Girl Scouts haven't gone rogue. :)
Hell, the Girl Scouts would have made it all the way to Moscow.
ROFLMAO

You mean there are people in the GOP that advocate for "law and order"? Color me shocked.
Yes, they do ... when it is their version of it. Not unlike how they've come to see other issues: as long as they get to decide which laws apply and when and how order is structured and by whom.
Enough with the compliments, already!
