These days you seem to be able to do anything you want with as many guns as you want, and nobody will look askance. I personally don’t understand the need for open carry legislation--it seems to me that is just a means of showing off how tough you are. And beyond a hunting rifle and a gun to protect your house, what are the other guns for? Clay pigeons? I’m sorry, I listen but fail to understand the need for personal ownership of an AK-47 style rifle or anything else that is meant to kill as many people as quickly as possible, unless you are living on a war footing. I can even understand the desire to collect a particular type of gun, but for show, not for use. Privileges like gun ownership must be weighed against harm to the community. We are told that people kill people, not guns. Well, far fewer people would die if attackers were armed only with a knife. Far fewer people would die if we limited magazine capacity.
