Lots of youngish media folks talking the talk in rushing to judgment, reporting half-truths, and wording important headlines and storylines in misleading ways. A number of youngish politicians likewise feeling it and venturing forth with judgmental assessments without waiting for facts and then doubling down or disappearing when caught in the act. Meanwhile Old Man Biden walks the walk of diplomacy, trying to broker compromise and shared solutions while keeping his cool and seeing the bigger picture.

Years ago when we stood at the dawn of the internet, many warned of the dangers of flushing raw sewage into the mainstream. They were poo-pooed as stodgy old media types who didn't understand that editors were unwanted filters. Give it to Bannon and his ilk that they recognized the power of flooding the zone with shit. It's going to be heard to clean up the stream again, especially since social media types (Zuck and Musk, among the most guilty) who pretend to have a solution that allows free play gated by an algorithm that promises ... well that determines what you like and feeds you even more of it
Youth is good for the energy and passion it brings if it can be harnessed and rationally controlled. Inexperience can sometimes point out things that older and "wiser" heads have overlooked or forgotten or have become too cynical about.
