ABC just lost my viewership. MSNBC has lost most of my attention, too. Hate to see big media cowtowing. Glad for a variety of alternatives...including you guys and The Financial Times and still so far the NYT and CNN.

1) VERY USEFUL to look at local TV stations and what's left of local newspapers, thus skip the national network overviews. EXAMPLE--Checked youtube for Minnesota news, thus found Minneapolis station KARE 11, ahead of everybody else in researching the political killings early Sat that caused MN to call off most its King's Day events. The KARE 11 reporters quickly drew a picture of a militarized man with security guard equipment and police-style vehicle, due to a family biz in that, easy to fake being a cop. (He called himself Christian, yet had three AK-47s and a hit list with 70 names. They'd found his childhood friend, known since age 4, who'd housed the shooter recently. The friend was in tears over what was happening, early confirmed the shooter as a Trump voter.

2) Be selective at MSNBC. At youtube, an extra-good reporter I like pops up if I type:: msnbc deadline white house

(I use filter icon to select today or this week)

3 Also to check in the UK, The Guardian and Bloomberg/Business Week. Are others.
