not vote president at all. Enough no vote for Trump might reduce his vote to the MAGA faithful. Regular Republicans should abstain or vote for Biden. Otherwise we will be responsible for the result. Question is how do we organize it.
That very vision is what keeps me sane ( mostly). I can see that happening at the end of the RNC convention. I keep thinking where is Madea when we need her to hitch slap the D leadership. Can’t someone appeal to Biden with fear for his legacy, appeal to his ego from that position? I pray Biden will hand the reins to Kamala to run on his legacy and her vitality? I doubt that much good will come from a chaotic competitive DNC Convention after what the MAGAts have been predicting. Last week, maybe, but now? Nope. Don’t let that bunch of creeps and fools be right about anything, especially the chance of winning. I’m old, I can’t imagine winding down my life with Trumpism looming without extraordinary effort to stop it.
I disagree on leadership. Trump has never been a leader of anything anyone. Kamala is underrated, she can beat Trump like a drum. He is easily triggered. She is untested though, but remember that Rs have been running against her since 2018/19 as a threat to white males and their “womenfolk”.
