Yes, yes. I felt that way every time some reporter asked a Trumplicant about the “stolen” election or Jan 6 and they’d give some vague nonsensical answer and after a few minutes, the reporter would say “we need to move on”. I’d think no, we need to hear the specifics of what they are claiming. Make it clear that they have no evidence or even a logical argument. Don’t let them off the hook by “moving on”.

Unfortunately, having the Trumplicants hear all of that won’t make much difference, if any. No matter what is actually said, they’ll see Trump get defensive and see the reporter “badgering” Trump and the facts will go out the window. And if all else fails Trump will later call the reporter a “bad guy” or say it’s “fake news” and that will be the end of that. It is a cult, after all.

Right. He gave the interview to Terry Moran because he’d never heard of him. And he’s a bad guy. What is he talking about?

Moran is a bad guy because he tried to get Trump to explain himself and didn't just swallow the tripe that Trump threw out. How dare he!
