Alright, but the Democrats MUST have viable solutions to problems that would themselves provide the defense from Republican attack. Such as promoting molten-salt fast breeder reactors, such as investing in Argonne National Laboratory designing a baseload scale Integral Fast Reactor, the EBR II, as the solution to a) our energy needs forever forward and (b) power plant CO2 emissions. A standard design would end the regulatory issues caused by pressurized reactors and the waste problems of non-breeders. This isn't esoteric because energy is core to an industrial society and economy and global warming is an existential threat.
Then there's the FACT that our privatized health care system's costs are out of control and the answer is to socialize it:
The GOP has NO point in privatizing healthcare further as it already costs people, including the stupid GOP voters, more for a lower life expectancy! Understand that Nixon suggested this.
Also, they need to keep hammering that Trump and the entire GOP are traitors, that they have broken their oath to defend the constitution in their allowing the executive powers that it reserves for the legislature, the executive simply enforces the law and has no authority to ignore or change it.
