“President Biden, not all of America is with you on this one and you need to wake up and understand that,” Michigan Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib said at a rally calling for a cease-fire Wednesday. “We will remember this.”

Stay home or cast your vote for a third-party candidate at your own peril. If you want trump back in office and the end of American Democracy as we've known it all of our lives, then go for it. But own it, because that will be on all of you.

A bit of wisdom from William E. Gladstone for the Hamas apologists and the Israeli backers alike: "Nothing that is morally wrong can be politically right."

It's like a group of people choosing where to go for lunch, and you suggest the hot new Ethiopian restaurant but no one supports that, so you sit and sulk. Meanwhile, half the group wants to eat dog shit sandwiches and the other half wants diner food. If you don't put on your grown up pants and weigh in, you're going to be eating the dog shit sandwich and stupidly trying to figure out, "How did this happen!?!"

Just making sure I’m following, was Bernie the Ethiopian restaurant in this scenario?

I can feel it: “President Biden does not represent my views 100%. Therefore he gives me no choice but to vote for a dictator.”

Just no ability to understand or comprehend how bad it will get. You'd think this Speaker race would help show them the disfunction but everyone's too focused with Swelyce or TikTok..

The Voice is pretty popular. It’s another rigged election.

Perhaps they can put their faith in the Supreme Court to protect their rights. Or put their faith in Trump abiding by their rulings.

Well, he did in when they ruled he had to release his tax records to a House investigative committee in 2020.

I was a "Bernie Sanders purist" in 2016, IN CALIFORNIA, where I knew to an absolute certainty that HRC would win my state in a landslide, and that my vote mattered not at all. Had I lived in one of the crazy "battle-ground" states that swung RED that year (thanks, Vlad!!), I absolutely would have held my nose and voted for a third Clinton term in the White House. Now, as an inveterate "leftist" (actually a 72-year-old independent progressive who has always believed in democracy)--having lived in utter despair through nearly 8 years of a dystopian, Trumpified America--I will vote for Presdent Biden (or whoever else might be the Democratic Party nominee), come hell or high water. I will have no other choice.

Purists are becoming a dominant political force, all over the political map. As I wrote further down, it correlates well with our culture of narcissism.
