Just as American courts failed to hold Trump accountable for multiple crimes, Israeli courts failed to hold Netanyahu accountable to the law.
To “punish” Netanyahu was to punish Israel. Lost in the horror of Gaza is the indisputable fact that Israel was brutally attacked by people operating out of Palestine.

I don’t blame the Palestinian people and I believe the disproportionate punishment of the entire territory within Palestine was itself a crime. Biblical eye for an eye behavior solves nothing and has caused irreparable harm.
Palestine didn’t put out a welcome matte for Hamas or Irani proxies. Getting rid of dangerous parasites is problematic. If Israel had taken a different approach they might have retained the sympathy of sensible people and solved their problem. Carpet bombing is never a good idea.
You conflate Netanyahu’s behavior and decisions with Biden’s. I simply disagree. Isn’t it wonderful to live in a world where intelligent people can disagree without villainizing one another? I will count my blessings while it lasts.
My grandfather’s family immigrated to the USA from West Prussia. The family were German speaking jews. I hide behind nothing. You hide behind false morality.
Take your phony moral high ground and lump it. You are only looking for fake debate not actual philosophical discussion.
Just for anyone who has been following this thread, the correct answer is: “of course I do not condemn the Jewish uprising in Warsaw. They were living in intolerable conditions, under a brutal, deadly tyranny”.
But then … what of the Palestinians who have likewise been cruelly occupied and oppressed for far longer?
It is deeply hypocritical to hide behind your own family’s story, as if that gives you the right to justify the subjugation and annihilation of other people’s families.
Because 1930s and early 1940s NAZIs is the closest approximate to the occupied Palestinian Territories.
But if you are going to hide behind Godwin’s Law, let me give you a lesser approximate: would you condemn the one millions Uighers if they decided to rise up against their Chinese occupiers?

Tell me: do you condemn the Jews of the Warsaw ghetto uprising? If not, why not?
Godwin’s Law. How refreshing.
It’s a very simple question, CG:
Do you condemn the Jews of the Warsaw ghetto for uprising?
If not, why not?
(You can’t answer, can you? That’s why you resort to ad-hominem).
“ad hominem” coming from you…my, what a fine example of projection…
Where have I used ad-hominem?
Because I called your argument hypocritical? I gave evidence of the hypocrisy, directed at your arguments, not at you as a person.
As such, it is not ad-hominem.
You could just answer the question, CG.
Do you condemn any people for rising up to overthrow tyranny and oppression?
(You might be surprised I have a somewhat nuanced position on this question).

Never again means never again for ANYONE.
And original! I give you full marks for bringing the subject back to Nazi Germany.
