Huge respect for Judge Luttig. He was one of those judges that even if you were on the other side of his opinion, you could read them and realize they were well thought out, logical, had serious reasoning behind them and that he valued the institutions of governance.

Glad to see him step up since 1/6 and call out what he sees as something akin to treason.

Judge Luttig has shown that he walks the walk and actually believes in the American values and ideals he espouses. It shouldnтАЩt be that remarkable, but in an era when so many others who have spent their lives and careers making similar claims were revealed to treat the words as nothing but empty pablum, it is very much remarkable to see someone as respected as Judge Luttigs treat these values and ideals like any true patriotic American should. While the John Eastmans of the world treat them as catchphrases uttered to advance their careers, wealth, or power, and not something they actually believed in or even cared about, Judge a Luttig treats them as the foundation blocks on which this country was built and what is ultimately responsible for keeping us and our posterity free to enjoy the blessings of liberty. Judge Luttig is simply acting like a true American, and the people he warns us about are simply most unpatriotic, un-American, traitors this country has seen since 1865.

I am deeply grateful to judge Luttig and Liz Cheney for using their well-deserved status to communicate to people who hear things most effectively from conservative voices.

I am amazed that Wyoming voters voted her out of office when she and her family have the most conservative credentials in the entire state. Instead they literally sided with a Manhatten Trust Fund baby who shares none of their conservative values. I guess they have been brainwashed by Limbaugh and his ilk.

Of course they would. The single motivating factor for todayтАЩs GQP is hatred of people who support Democrats. Since Liz was on the side of those people, she is an enemy and untrustworthy.

Technically she didn't support Democrats. She supported law and order and was against hoodlums trashing the Capitol building. Big difference.

Not to the GQP. To them, any support of any position that a Democrat supports is tantamount to treason.

Agree completely. But itтАЩs chilling that we needed to even have Judge Luttig put out his tweets. Now imagine if Al Gore had decided that since Florida was so close in 2000 election, he was dividing the electoral votes from that state, thus giving him the majority and declaring himself President. ItтАЩs absurd, right? But under the logic of Trump and his sycophants that is acceptable under the Constitution. ItтАЩs patently absurd, and the fact that any responsible leader could even consider TrumpтАЩs demands acceptable is disqualifying for any office.

What if Ralph Nadar said that he actually pulled out of the race the day before the election and Gore the case that his electoral votes would have gone to him so he took them and won Florida. No one would have agreed to that.
