I'm pleasantly surprised the Bulwark is solidly blaming the Republicans for this. The door is wide open for a both sides analysis given it required all the Dems to vote him out too (regardless of the reasons). They and most of the other centrists usually walk through that door pretty eagerly. Perhaps the other shoe is dropping at long last.

Kind of hard to overlook the whole "he's trying to impeach a Democratic president over....something his son who has never been in government did." McCarthy has been a complete dick to Democrats....exactly why should they sign up for more of that by bailing him out?
