This isn't good enough. The next step cannot just be block Trump from winning the presidency and then sitting on our hands. What is this coalition supposed to accomplish with the power gained?
This coalition won in 2020 and has done little to protect American democracy, apart from reforming the electoral count act. They haven't made it harder to fire inspectors general. They haven't enacted laws to give teeth to the Emoluments Clause. They haven't reformed the laws that allowed Trump to circumvent Senate confirmation for cabinet officials. If Trump gets reelected, he will have a green light to take up where he left off four years earlier.
