Re: Terrorism after 9/11.

Mr. Frum was right about terrorism in theatres and shopping malls, but instead of those acts being perpetrated by external groups, they were by White, home grown, MAGA-leaning, gun-loving lone-wolves.

Who likewise, prey on and kill innocent children in school classrooms.

Is changing the subject helpful to the question at hand?

The тАЬquestion at handтАЭ is the sickeningly coordinated MAGA attacks against President Biden, during a time where those spewing outright lies should instead be condemning the unprovoked violence of Hamas.

The defence of Israel and the questions around punishing Hamas while saving the hostages is the question. Important side questions involve solving IsraelтАЩs various open wounds. Using it yo ride your hobby horse is just as sickening as MAGA using it to ride theirs. YouтАЩre using the death of human beings to advance your own cause. They are too.

тАЬAdvance my own causeтАЭReally?

I strongly reject your mis-characterization.

MAGA disease, aka Fascism, exists around the globe, including Israel.

My efforts - OUR efforts - are focused on squashing authoritarianism wherever it raises its hideous head.

Your blinders are showing.

In fact, most mass shootings (4 or more victims) are perpetrated by young black men against other young black men and they happen every single weekend all over the country. Mass school shootings are relatively rare.

What's your source here? Statista says ~53% of US mass shootings are perpetrated by white men.

It should be understood there is no agreed-upon definition of mass shooting.

Mass-shootings.info uses the Wiki definition of 4 victims in one location. You can also track all these instances on Wiki and each of them are linked to local news stories.

Mass-shootings.info IтАЩm not sure why they have not updated 2023 data. Each thumbnail links to a local news story. The most recent data they have is from 2022 which is 424 mass shootings, 71% of which were committed by blacks, 14% by Latinos, 14% by whites, and one percent by Asians. 56% of mass shootings in 2022 had no known suspect.

Yes, Austin. Inner city gangs and deranged people who can buy on the open market weapons meant to attack enemy platoons are exactly equivalent.

Our gun problem, as the commenter above asserted, is not тАЬwhite, home grown, MAGA-leaning, gun-loving lone-wolves.тАЭ Neither is it the fairly rare school shootings, data shows it is young black men shooting other young black men and often innocents in strollers.

Our gun problem would appear to be too easy access to too damn many guns.

That's what connects all the fun groups together.

ItтАЩs likely due to rampant fatherlessness among young black men and all the pathologies that inevitably follow.

I recommend going back and re-reading the 7 things not to do, because clearly you didn't read for comprehension. So, maybe...stop while you are behind?

Data shows that the claim of hun violence by white MAGAs, whatever that means, is false. Pretty sure I read that claim right.

It is amazing that threats to this country are internal and not external.

Two oceans, the most powerful military in the world, the height of space technology, and the strongest alliance system in human history...where else could our threats be other than internal?

why would a foreign enemy bother with us when they can just sit back and watch us destroy ourselves??? We have to wipe out MAGA or we are going down the drain as a country..putting Trump in jail would be a start...

Is that like Trump putting our country in on the back nine at Bedminster? (couldn't resist; sorry)

That is exactly what I thought. And I feel like it will only get worse. My grandchildren have regular active shooter drills, go through metal detectors, wear clear backpacks, .and now some teachers anonymously carry guns, like a teacher with a gun can do what 500 law enforcement agents could not do in Uvalde.

And let us not forget Republican Senators who were too terrorized by their own base to vote to remove Trump from office during his two impeachment trials, or the many election officials terrorized into quitting and making way for anti-election MAGAts to take their place.

First thing I thought as well. Well said, all. My kids endure active shooter lockdown drills in school, and I was required to attend active shooter response training as a volunteer. And it's not because Al Qaeda is coming for us

This is exactly what words came to my mind on reading that - we've done worse by far on our own terror clubs. Anyone who wants to idiotically condemn Arabs or Israelis is blind to the terror right here.

Yeah that was my immediate thought too.

If Muslims killed people at at the rate that our own homegrown terrorists did MAGAs would've been clamoring to put them in camps.
