Nobody should ever try to avoid talking about what is happening with Putin in Ukraine in light of the attempt at authoritarianism here in America. Rather it should be rubbed in the faces of those who are now, just days after their most recent praising of that thug Putin, trying to rewrite history. Next week they will be denying their trip to Moscow in 2018, and Carlson and his merry band of Bobble heads will be shifting their bullshit in the direction of the Democrats. After all, wasn't it the fault of the Lib's that Putin was allowed to do all of the bad things he's doing now? And let us not forget the press. These are the folks who won't let TFG, and his antics fade from the headlines to give Biden his actual due, unless of course he mispronounces a word during a speech. No, they seem to be there to help further divide the country at a time when their tremendous power could be better used to unite. What is more notable, a President who united the allies of our great country against the scourge that is currently menacing Europe, or an eleven-cent rise in the cost of a gallon of gas while one million Ukrainian's were fleeing their homeland. Breaking news on CNN had the price of gas rising by eleven cents' overnight Thursday.
Seriously I can't deal with the spoiled American people whining about gas prices and masks now while the Ukrainian people are running for their lives either for the border or in underground bomb shelters while dealing with a spike in Covid.
I take a bit of issue here: Yes, there are many "spoiled Americans" -- like there are in all rich countries -- and we are in general kinda "soft," but those "whining about gas prices" could more accurately be called "struggling Americans." Those on minimum wage, fixed incomes, three jobs, cannot afford $5/gal gas. Literally, they cannot buy that. So have a thought. No, the sacrifice does not include being bombed out of our homes today. But it is still sacrifice for many. One I suspect most will gladly pay. And the rest will deserve our compassion too.

I suppose every nation has its own Fifth Column. Ours is just out front and politically powerful.
Really? Why? (Never mind; I don't even understand our own GOP...)
