I watch / listen to Simon whenever I can... I feel so much better, especially this week after the shit show in the Supreme Court. I feel in my gut that the horrors being visited on 50% of American women who have lost their physical autonomy and the fear of women who currently live in 'Blue' states that their rights will be next will be the deciding factor. Women everywhere (I live in a Blue state and have been unaffected so far) are absolutely enraged. In 2024 I can be raped by my brother, grandfather, cousin, any random male, be forced to carry a pregnancy to term, and if there are any complications, be turned away from the ER because of laws so vague that Doctors do not know what is lawful. This is not abstract, this is happening in several states. For the rest of my life, until the rights of American women are restored, this is the only issue I will vote on.
