Violence - seeing it in movies/TV, thinking about it, reading about it, writing about it - is an aphrodisiac, a turn-on for many, men and women, as movie-makers have long figured out as our movies/TV, etc. have become saturated with violence, blood and gore. Is it any wonder that in the minds of too many like Trump and his Pets it becomes accepted? Of course, when it attacks them - that's another issue.

Yeah, that's a good point, and I'm a bit guilty of digging violence in movies and video games. I'm a big fan of Grand Theft Auto V, and if I want to roam the map instead of doing missions, I just usually cause as much destruction as I can. But GTA V isn't the real world. I would never think of tossing a grenade at another car, for example. The reason that Trump and his "pets" have a violence-induced chubby is because they'll never have to experience the consequences of advocating something so reprehensible in the public square. We know Trump is a coward; look at how he groveled for Putin in Helsinki a few years back. The dude's never been in a bar fight.

Honestly, something has to change in the culture, but I don't know how to achieve that without making things worse.
