Josh Hawley can keep repeating "things that happened there were terrible. It’s gotta get fixed" without having to specify exactly what dastardly deeds he's talking about. Then they can dial up the "well, so many people have concerns" that the unnamed and/or fabricated "terrible things" must be investigated. Maybe they'll even spin up another uprising. So much to look forward to with this crew.
Given that these guys actually know where the public is, one can conclude that they just want to keep this party going and keep raking in the cash by spinning lies, fostering anger and hate. Lord, I am dreading these next couple of years.
I’ve lived in Arizona for 8 years, and I can tell you, nothing “happened here”. There is a national view that Arizona is full of right wing crazies, and for the most part, that’s not true. Arizonans think of themselves as independent, don’t bother me and I won’t bother you kind of people. Don’t forget Arizona was the last state to join the Union until Alaska and Hawaii.
We have democrats in the governor’s seat, Secretary of State, one senator, and until recently, the other senator. That can always change.
