Charlie, this one hurts.

That nonsense from the RNC is truly insane. I am unable to understand how any sane person still aligns with the "Republican Party".

Believing that there are "good people" inside that carnival tent is simply delusional. I understand the realpolitik that many claim as their raison d'être in the upcoming elections, but the notion that moving on from Trumpism by playing along is a fool's errand not to mention a Faustian bargain.

Damn this is bad.....

My thoughts, Woe to those that call evil good.

Huge warning sign was when the RNC decided to start paying Trump's personal legal fees. Trump's collecting hundreds of millions and keeping it all. That alone should tell them that Trump doesn't give a damn about Reps unless they swallow his lies.

Cheney and Kinzinger took an oath. I'd wager that most of the RNC has not.

If they've been elected to public office, they've taken the same oath as Cheney and Kinzinger. If they've been member of the military, they've taken that oath as well.

But oath or no oath, all of us have a duty to our country. It appears the RNC has decided its oath is to Trump. That puts them at odds with loyalty to America.

You can't be both good and silent in the face of Trumpism's takeover of the party. If you're good, you're Cheney and Kinzinger and will be purged. If you're 'good' and remain silent, you're a collaborator, and therefore, no longer good.
