Maybe they rationalize that someone worse would take 'their' seat, whatever the reason, even people who used to be respectable have proved what Stewart Stevens wrote about is true: when it comes to the republican party, "It Was All A Lie." I'm glad my late, conservative republican parents didn't live to see this travesty.
