The facts about the pipeline don't matter. The "fact" that it was "cancelled" is what counts. that "fact" works for its purpose.

Any lie that receives a fact check response is a successful lie. Facts go to newspapers to die. Lies go to the internet and live forever.

Regarding the Chris Chivvas "EMP" option: Why use a nuke to achieve a localized EMP effect when one can do this exact thing using cyber weapons--perhaps ones honed during the color revolutions & Crimea perhaps?--while maintaining plausible deniability ("It was pro-Russian hackers in a basement") and not risking further international fallout regarding nuclear weapons use? Chill out Sum of All Fears guy.

The "information preparation of the battlespace" PSYOPs that the Russian gov is currently whipping up makes the use of chemical weapons much more likely--Russian officials are talking about Ukrainian bioweapon labs *real* loudly all of a sudden. Anyone who tracked Syria closely will recall Assad & Putin blaming chemical weapons use on the Syrian rebels, when in fact they were dropping chlorine barrel bombs onto densely-populated urban centers from helicopters. The chlorine bomb is used immediately after a traditional airstrike levels a civilian complex deemed to be an "operational rebel outpost" to kill anyone who survived via asphyxiation by sucking the oxygen out of the air with the chlorine bomb. Putin uses thermobaric and chemical weapons against civilian populaces as a terror tactic to get them to capitulate faster. Same thing with shelling "exit corridors" for civilians fleeing contested cities. This is what he does people. Brace yourselves for photos of places like Mariupol & Kharkiv having their urban centers hit with chemical weapons that "Ukrainian rebels" will supposedly have stored in bunkers subject to Russian airstrikes. "Whoops, it was their fault though" kind of shit*

*They picked this tactic up from the IDF in Gaza regarding secondary munitions going off inside of PLO fighting positions in the wake of Israeli airstrikes in densely-populated civilian areas. You take the "shoot the hostage" mentality of airstriking dense population centers to get at "rebels," but then layer in a false flag op by blaming the civilian casualties on the target of the strikes themselves. The Israelis set this precedent, and most Americans & Europeans bought into it, so now Russia is using it as a weapon. War is fun.
