Sarah: it is a strange feeling to distrust the American Government in these scenarios.

Every leftist: *mouth agape*.

FWIW: I subscribe because it is the only place that I hear arguments that challenge my views.

The BukwarkтАЩs analysis is often excellent тАж but тАж their ideology is not great.

As the genocide has been going on, IтАЩve been monitoring The BulwarkтАЩs response. Maybe their analysis is starting to overcome their ideology?

Initially, it was тАЬhistory started on Oct 7тАЭ, nothing Israel ever did justifies Oct 7, but everything Israel has ever done is post-hoc justified by Oct 7.

Then as the atrocities mounted, The Bukwark fell silent - no mention of the cutting off of all aid to Gaza for nearly 3 months.

Then, we got to the тАЬitтАЩs all BibiтАЩs faultтАЭ stage, and weтАЩre working through that at the moment.

AFAIK: they have not looked at IsraelтАЩs actions through the lens of international law. For example, they call IsraelтАЩs actions тАЬeffectiveтАЭ, where I call them terrorism and violations of international humanitarian law.

When it comes to Mamdani, Sarah canтАЩt seem to get past the combo of leftist AND anti-Zionist. I hope she can.

But тАж in just the last few days, when they see how Israel is manipulating the United States to act against OUR interests тАж maybe thatтАЩs changing?

I hope so. Not just because it is the moral and legal thing to do, but because unconditional support for Israel will probably split the Democrats in 2028, letting Trump win.

Again.
