One way or another, there has to be a reckoning with the Trump years and Republicans' role. Like you, I don't want violence. If there is to be violence, it will because they have chosen so. We need to proceed with an awareness of the violence MAGA forces may unleash, but with a steadfast determination in spite of it, and with the rule of law as our guide.
I agree with you. I'm tired of being a hostage to the GOP et al. The nation is exhausted by the constant bombardment of hate and ugliness and tyranny and violence and promise of destruction! It needs to be halted! I'd rather see it done before the GOP retakes/steals more elections (which is why they are so quick to point the finger -- they are stunned when they try, and fail, to steal an election).
I doubt many of the Cosplay Confederacy really want to take on the US Military. They may fantasize shooting up libtard woke snowflakes, but the reality is the Dems hold the power to bring an end to their fantasies.
I too have hit my Trump limit and I still have enough in the anger pool to direct an anger tsunami at the GOP for their feckless enabling of this whole Trump mess.
Yes. And the preparation the police in NYC, Miami and DC did as well. Whew! I was worried that MAGA had infected US law enforcement. I'm not so worried now.

They don't really want to go up against actual police either.
Jan 6 says something different, but getting prosecuted for that does seem to have had an effect.
