Crenshaw didn't just say that "several" of his colleagues supported the insurrection, he said "a lot" of them did that. He said the quiet part out loud. And now he's just going along with trying to install a literal traitor as Speaker. The cowardice is just stomach-turning.

Crenshaw is filth. He's an ethical weathervane. Periodically he'll do something that resembles a pr├нncipled act or statement and then he'll promptly ruin it.

He's a slightly starchier Lindsey Graham.

Yeah, I had high hopes for him initially, and he does occasionally appear to show some ethical backbone, but you're right: he always ruins it.

No, there was some fracas with him early on, and he went on Saturday Night Live and gave a reasonable speech, IIRC. Seemed like he might be legit. Alas, 'twas not to be.
