The Michael Steele Podcast (in its current form) is going on hiatus, so Michael is bringing together some favorite podcast guests from past episodes for a big, live streamed barbershop on politics, culture and current events on YouTube. Join Michael Steele, Rick Wilson, Eugene Daniels, Tara Setmayer, Dr. Jason Johnson and April Ryan on Tuesday, June 3rd at 10 a.m. ET. (They will be taking audience questions at the end of the podcast!)

Will miss your show. Could you post your live YouTubes here please?
You combine a positive philosophy, political experience along with a good sense of humor to keep us informed.
Good luck. !
I purchased a membership for this?
So who's going to be willing to host Elie when you are gone? Those were great shows! Not sure I can respect you in the morning.
I love the Bulwark and I was happy to see you as a host because I'd like some minority representation here, even though I love the main team.
Why should MSNBC get your loyalty after they removed all those hosts of color? Are you still a practicing Republican?
I am not happy with your decision. [I know, redundant.] I've stopped watching MSNBC and CNN because I don't consider them to do a good job of reporting. So I guess I won't be seeing you. The Bulwark and Meidas touch do a better job.
Good luck, Sir!
Hi Michael, your podcast is so much more of an intimate and in-depth conversation than is possible in the cable format. I hope you will reconsider and keep a podcast going along with your new gig. For example, I enjoy Nicole Wallace's new podcast and Chris Hayes' podcast.
Congratulations
Nicole Wallace has a podcast. Why can't Michael have one? I'd definitely sign up for that!
You're a good guy, Michael. I'll really miss your kindness and decency in your podcast. You make me feel better just listening to you. I will definitely follow you to your next adventure!
You will be missed. It has always been amazing to me how you sustain your sweet spirit alongside all you have learned and experienced in our complicated political world. I've learned a lot from you alongside those times when you are a complete hoot! MSNBC is lucky to have you. I hope you will continue to back up Katty Kay when the Mooch is out of town. Happy trails.
Thanks Michael, for your passion and point of view. I love to listen to you! Good luck with the Weeknight!
I hate to hear this but congratulations! I just don't get cable, so I will probably miss your MSNBC.
Sirius XM has it.
Thanks, but I don't subscribe to that either.
Have followed your pod -- and you commentaries wherever you pop up -- for years, so I'm sad that this chapter is closing, but glad you are onwarding and upwarding still! All best wishes!
Thank you for your podcast, Michael.
You have become one of my favorite Bulwark podcasters.
Your voice will be deeply missed.
Thank you for your voice and wisdom. We appreciate all you have done, and look forward to hearing more from you as we all face this “shit”.
The times, they are a-changin'. Sorry to see this one go but I'll be looking for you on MSNBC. Congrats on the new gig and good luck to you.
Bulwark!

Noto bene:
- Please keep all of these epiphanous points of light very much alive and prominent on your website because there has never been a Michael Steele podcast not worth listening to at least two or three times!
Btw.
That's it folks. I have finally channeled enough of my grief through these long and overwrought meditations upon the passing of the Michael Steele eponymous podcast! And I realize, TMI though it may be, that I could have just poured a libation instead and precluded reifying my extended riff & rant but in these dark & wee hours of the morning, I really needed to vent to the cloistered village of Bulwark. So thank you all for dwelling in this village. TDS. It rears its monstrous hydra head once more!
Yet bereft as I am, Dawn rises and awaits! ...Along with a vocal feline wanting sustenance of one sort or another, i.e, food, affection, a romp sround the house, who can really say?; a cat's imperious and indisputable prerogative in the grand scheme of things. The rest of us? Mere actors on a stage, as someone noted earlier in a series of moments before our own.
Michael, we'll miss you!
Wow! Again...
After posting my long farewell to Michael, I took the time to read all of the other comments and reluctant farewells added before my own and now I am even more crestfallen and off my usual cheerful game (I was fortunate to be raised with abundant joy and love and citical thinking skills!) than a short while ago. Here is why:
Judging from the comments, it looks like most of your audience is female! I certainly hope not because - as the gods know full well - your voice & POVs definitely need to be going straight into the hearts and minds of men actoss America who are ensnared in their man-caves and man-bubbles. I mourn deeply for my gender if we haven't been listening to you and your guests religiously for years!
And worry!
A lot!
For the rest of America.
Wow! And oh, no!
Disappointment in toto!
Yikes exponentially!!
Woe is me, again and again!!!
And again...
Now bear with me and let me explain how I really feel...
This dyed-in-the-wool old Leftie curmudgeon is defiinitely going to miss your wit and grace and utterly fabulous selection of guests - consistently interviewed with intellectual depth, insight, and a POV that is frankly unique and entirely unlikely to be matched by any other podcast to which i might tune in.
Bulwark - this puts a tremendous onus upon you all to try and quickly find another voice like Steele's to correct for the preponderance of white folks in your line-up (and, so too MSM in general, of course); which, dare i say? - and still quite thoroughly necessary to say loudly and often! - is a consequence of America's problem of recalcitrant racism. It has been our nation's greatest failing since its founding. There can be no true democracy until we accept and absorb what so much of Michael Steele has been preaching on his podcasts. We need to do better! Diversity is the only way genuinely forward progress can happen for the humam race. Critical Race Theory is real and the Bulwark must not fall into the trap of dismissing what way too many of the vapid media elite have already effectively banned from MSM reporting and analysis, especially on the conservative side. It is MAGA that s the true enemy of the People, not DEI - even despite its sometimes admittedly insipid and wholly myopic practitioners; that's where and why thoughtfully engaged CRT is needed as an evaluative framework! Michael's guests have often been some of the only proponents of keeping CRT a part of the intellectual toolset that every thinking person should be employing; no American citizen should ever leave home without it.
Finally, I have gladly supported and recommended the Bulwark since its inception, alongside the Nation, Mother Jones, ACLU, and any number of Left-of-Center voices and organizations devoted to truth-telling long before the Bulwark's cadre of Reagan Reoublicans began to
see the Light. (I did say above that i am an old Leftie...) I dearly want to continue that supporr but losing Michael Steele from your ranks will certainly cause me to think twice before next year's automatic renewal happens because I believe so strongly that no Fourth Estate enterprise can properly serve its role in ensuring and enhancing America's great and marvelous experiment in democracy unless such efforts include (DEI again!) minority voices every damn day.
Oh Carl I'm laughing because I couldn't figure out what to say here in the comments to express that like oh no, I'm really going to miss the Michael Steele podcast, I always feel better after listening to an episode, I love his laugh and how it reminds me we're all on this crazy train together.........and I come to the comments section and all I can say is thank you Carl for spilling your guts out for me.........Michael's a great guy!
I always love hearing your perspective, Michael. Thank you so much for programmes here. I don't have access to MSNBC and will miss your weekly podcasts here at the Bulwark.
Michael, I have always found your comments to be thoughtful and insightful. I appreciate your calm manner - I will miss your podcast here, but look forward to seeing you in your expanded role on MSNBC!
I don’t wanna lose you on this platform, But I am so glad to see you nightly on MSNBC — it makes my day - you guys are good together. You are my favorite!!!!!! You make this madness bearable. Blessings to you ALWAYS!!!
Loved your podcast, thank you for speaking truth to power.
Bummer. I enjoy this podcast, and MSNBC is a little too much for me. I learned a lot from listening to this. Thanks!
SIMPLY THE BEST!!
smartest guy in the room more often than not
Shoot, love this podcast
Michael - Thank you for your podcast. I know you are busy with your MSNBC job and such, but I hope to tune in more over at MSNBC to see you talk to others.
Going to miss you, especially now that the Pope is an Augustinian.
Has anyone read this just go to his new platform, YouTube . Which has been there all along. Just the pod is no longer on.
I love being able to listen to you on my way home on the radio, but I will miss this podcast. Best Wishes great success!
I love you on MSNBC, but I haven't watched the network very much this year. I have really enjoyed seeing you on The Bulwark. I am going to miss you here! Best Wishes!!! xo
Have enjoyed watching you on MSNBC for years and I love the new format for Weeknights. Though I am still ticked off at MSNBC about their recent behavior I will watch your show.
Good luck, Michael. Though I'm a lifelong
progressive, I've always respected your thoughts and arguments going back to your tenure as the head of the RNC. Again, good luck.
Good luck, Michael, and thanks for all the fish!
This makes me sad because I'm an original listener. Good luck with your show on MSNBC. Knock it out of the park. I hope you can put your show in podcast form like Nicole Wallace has done with hers.
Big ditto on the podcast form!
Best wishes for your MSNBC show, Michael--very sorry to hear you won't be doing the podcast anymore--I will miss you and your interesting guests.
Thank you for all that you do to keep exposing this administration's crimes. Keep on spreading the word. Best wishes for a successful season on MSNBC!
Will miss you! This coming from a years long Dem.
Huge loss for so many of us who rely on the truth, and your unique style and candor, and just lightheartedness in the darkness. Yet there are many truth tellers out there. I hope that you’re not leaving this platform due to contractual conflict of interest with MSNBC that would make me really sad in any case. I’m sorry to see you go.
And because I’m a bulwark plus subscriber I guess I’ll be seeing you on some of our other programs and also on Meidas programs .
Best,
CW
Keep on doing what you've been doing, Michael - it's important work. And we'll welcome you back to the Bulwark anytime!
I am so sad to not hear you anymore. No cable here. lol Thank you for your voice through the insanity.
Will miss the pod Michael. Good luck on MSNBC and keep up the good work.
NOOOOOOO! I just discovered this part of The Bulwark back in January. You can’t take it away. The OG pods are okay, but it’s you, Eliot and Eric, and Mona who keep me here. Please don’t leave!!!
Thanks for everything. Keep up the pressure.
I have enjoyed your perspective. Even at those times I disagree you, you have been deeply informative and thought provoking and I have truly appreciated your work on this podcast
I will miss your 1:1s. But I KNOW your hands are full with the Weeknight show.
Will miss your complete candor on your pod.
Not that you hold much too much on MSNBC!
Will miss you Michael. Not that interested in the MSNBC broadcast to be honest.
Booooooooooooooooooooooo!
Our loss is MSNBC’s gain. Thank you Michael for great conversations. I wish you all the best!
I will miss your podcast. I hope you’re back soon!
We will miss you Michael!! Don’t stay away too long!!
Michael, as someone who has been following your commentary since the Steele & Ungar days know that I'm going to miss this and look forward to your return to long form discussions. You have a important voice that is sorely needed in these times.
You know he has a new show on MSNBC, right?
Yup, I tune in! I just really like this format since it allows for a deeper dive
Michael, will miss your podcast. Thank you for everything!
Will miss your podcast, Michael!
I’ll keep watching you on the weeknight!
Thank you, Michael. Best of luck at MSNBC.
I’m relatively new to your podcast here but have really enjoyed it (and seeing you occasionally on MSNBC); I guess I’ll have to tune in more regularly to MSNBC now! Best to you and thanks!
Your podcasts were always great, honest, funny, informative and intemperate. MSNBC is not the same as your podcasts. I’ll miss them
How sad! But thank you for the candor, over the years.
Going to miss you Michael!!
Happy to watch yall at night too. Thanks Chairman!
Thank you Michael.
Oh no! Why?
