SPEAKER 2
Hello, everyone. This is JVL here with my bulwark colleague, Tim Miller. We got some stuff coming in hot on Monday. The vice president of the United States, J.D. Vance, is just doing a master class in geostrategery and explaining about how This U.S. president views wars as belonging not to America or to NATO or to our alliances,
0:27
but to other people, past presidents. Joe Biden's war. Tim, should we start out by listening to J.D. explaining the birds in the breeze?

SPEAKER 3
I have a big rant cooked up on this one. So everybody just stick around. You got to suffer through 45 seconds of J.D. Vance first.

JD Vance's Shameless Surrender To Putin

92

Tim Miller and JVL talk Vice President JD Vance’s comments on Ukraine, framing it as "Joe Biden’s war" and casted doubt on continued U.S. support.

The Dems should start periodic ads of "Lies made, lies kept" at every instance of Trump showing that he is "failing", because he never had any intention of fulfilling any campaign promise beyond tax cuts for the rich, to fulfill a campaign promise.

Wow, way to bail on Europe, JD.

That clown has no sense of history, and to back out is an excuse to give the aggressor what he wants. Europe is right. They can't count on the US any longer. What a shameful bunch of morons. We all deserve leadership, not cowardice and complicity of Russia.

Guys, I have to admit that you make me laugh the way you portray the stupidity of all this. On the other hand, I quake at the continued march toward authoritarianism. "Well it is not our war; it is not our fault; we care about Americans, etc."

There are 10s of millions of stupid fuck Americans who voted for these people. Do these imbeciles really think that The Don will spare them?

I know it's got to make you 2 gentlemen sick every time you have to give us the scoop on "alfalfa " Vance. I think your analysis is correct in every way. I don't claim to know the details of his life so far but think it goes something like this. Grows up white trash. Writes a book about it. Goes to Harvard where he learns that he can live the highlife...money, fame and power if only he becomes the world's second best complete a-hole. Mission accomplished!

Unless of course, can I extort, coerce or intimidate to profit bigly from it? If not, WALK AWAY!

Ukraine demonstrates unbelievable real bravery everyday trying to exemplify the standards WE set (mostly) with our policies of supporting our democratic allies.

Meanwhile, the MAGA Moron cowers to a photo of seashells on a beach. I'm guessing Washington, Lincoln, and Roosevelt would have been SO proud.

If JD Vance assigns ;ownership' of wars based upon who is in office at the time of its commencement, then we can just as easily say that the India/Pakistan skirmish belongs to Trump. Which is ridiculous, the Indian/Pakistan skirmish is not of Trump's design, and the Russian/Ukraine war is not of Biden's design. The responsibility and ownership of the war belongs to PUTIN and no one else. Vance is a first class dirtbag.

Simply no one in the Trump administration is capable of straight answers delivered in a professional tone. How I miss that, but here we are. It's all just condescending blather (Vance, Bessent, Patel, et al) and puffed-up shouting (Hegseth, Leavitt).

F them all. (And thank you for not subjecting us to more than 45 seconds of the horrid hill jack.)

It is not clear what Vance means by "walking away". In context, it just means giving up on negotiating a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. But it seems like some are interpreting it to mean abandoning Ukraine entirely. I'm sure that is what J.D. Vance wants, but in the wake of the minerals deal with Ukraine, it's not clear that is what Trump wants.

I think the key is intelligence sharing. As long as that continues, Ukraine can withstand Russian aggression.

Yeah, he certainly is one big piece of shit alright, but aren't they all in this administration? Anne Applebaum has a great article in "The Atlantic" today, in which she says in part: "Ukrainians are confident that they can continue fighting, even without the same level of American support." It amazes me how much courage that the Ukrainians have shown since the start of the Russian invasion; contrast that with the utter cowardice within our own country - the Republican congress, the MSM media, our corporate leaders, and sadly, even the Democrats. So much for American exceptionalism.

Never mind that Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons in exchange for assurances of protection from the US.

Also, we just heard Trump's side which you know will do everything possible to make him look like a great negotiator. But we've seen him "negotiate". All he knows how to do is bully, and he's only got one trick for that. I'm sure that Putin, who is a master of this game, totally played Trump and is still laughing about it. And Trump doesn't even get the joke.
